We are based in Manchester and travel across Greater Manchester and surrounding areas. If you're unsure whether we cover your location, just get in touch!

How do I book a party?
Simply complete our enquiry form or send us a message with your preferred date, time, location and character. We'll check availability and guide you through the booking process.

How far in advance should I book?
We recommend booking as early as possible, especially for weekends and school holidays, as our most popular characters can become fully booked months in advance.

How old are your parties suitable for?
Our parties are designed for children aged 3–10 years, but we tailor each experience to suit the age of the children attending.

Who will be attending the party?
You'll receive one of our professionally trained performers dressed as the character of your choice.

Are your performers professional?
Yes! Our performers are experienced musical theatre performers who are professionally trained in singing, acting and entertaining children.

Are your performers DBS checked?
Absolutely. Every member of our team holds an Enhanced DBS check.

Do your costumes look like the real characters?
We invest in beautiful, high-quality costumes and wigs to create an immersive and magical experience.

The Party

What happens during the party?
This depends on the package you've chosen, but activities may include:

  • Magical grand entrance

  • Sing-alongs

  • Princess games

  • Storytelling

  • Princess training

  • Glitter makeover

  • Coronation ceremony

  • Birthday cake celebration

  • Photo opportunities

  • Birthday certificate

Do you stay for the whole party?
Our performers stay for the duration of the package you've booked.

Can you host the entire party?
Yes! Our longer packages are designed so our performers lead the entertainment throughout their visit.

Birthday Cake

When should we do the birthday cake?
Please wait until your princess or character invites everyone to gather around. They'll lead everyone in singing Happy Birthday and make this moment extra magical.

📍 Venue

Do you come to houses?
Yes! We can perform in homes, halls, gardens and many party venues.

How much space do you need?
Just enough room for the children to sit together and take part in games and activities.

Can you perform outside?
Yes, weather permitting.

Booking & Payment

How much is the deposit?
A non-refundable deposit secures your booking, with the remaining balance due before your party.

When is final payment due?
Your remaining balance must be paid before your party date.

Can I cancel my booking?
Please refer to our Terms & Conditions for our cancellation policy.

Extra Magic

Can I book more than one character?
Yes! Many of our parties include two characters, and additional performers can be added to most packages.

Can I request a specific performer?
We'll always do our best, but we can't guarantee a specific performer.

Photos

Can we take photos?
Definitely! We encourage lots of photos throughout the experience.

Can you share our photos on social media?
Only with your permission.

What makes Vivacity Princess Parties different?
At Vivacity Princess Parties, every performer is a professionally trained musical theatre performer who loves bringing joy to children. We focus on creating immersive, interactive experiences rather than simply making an appearance, ensuring every birthday feels truly magical from beginning to end.

1. Booking & Deposit

  • A booking is only confirmed once the required non-refundable deposit has been received.

  • Your booking confirmation will include the date, time, location, package, any extras and character(s) booked.

  • Please check your confirmation carefully and notify us of any errors as soon as possible.

2. Final Payment

  • The remaining balance must be paid no later than 7 days before your party unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • If full payment is not received by the due date, Vivacity Princess Parties reserves the right to cancel the booking without refund of the deposit.

3. Cancellations

By the Customer

  • Deposits are non-refundable.

  • If you cancel within 14 days of your party date, the full balance may still be payable, as we are unlikely to be able to fill your booking at short notice.

By Vivacity Princess Parties

In the extremely unlikely event that we need to cancel due to illness, emergency or circumstances beyond our control, we will:

  • Offer a suitable replacement performer where possible; or

  • Offer an alternative date; or

  • Provide a full refund if we are unable to fulfil your booking.

4. Party Timings

  • Please ensure the venue is ready for our arrival.

  • Our performers will arrive shortly before the agreed start time.

  • Party times include the entertainment booked. Late starts caused by the customer cannot always be extended, as performers may have other bookings.

5. Surprise Arrivals

If your child is expecting a surprise visit, we kindly ask that an adult meets our performer upon arrival and helps them enter unnoticed where possible to preserve the magic.

6. Adult Supervision

A responsible adult aged 18 or over must remain present throughout the party.

Our performers are entertainers and are not responsible for supervising children.

7. Number of Children

Please let us know approximately how many children will be attending so we can tailor activities accordingly.

8. Health & Safety

  • Please advise us of any allergies, medical conditions or additional needs that may affect activities.

  • Parents remain responsible for children with allergies or medical requirements.

  • Children should wear suitable footwear and clothing for active games.

9. Venue Requirements

The customer is responsible for ensuring:

  • There is enough safe space for activities.

  • The venue is clean and safe.

  • Any necessary permissions have been obtained from the venue.

Outdoor parties are weather dependent. If poor weather makes it unsafe to perform outside, an indoor alternative should be available.

10. Birthday Cake

Please wait until the performer invites everyone to gather around before bringing out the birthday cake. This allows us to create a magical birthday moment and lead everyone in singing Happy Birthday.

11. Photography & Videos

We love creating magical memories!

Customers are welcome to take photographs and videos throughout the party for personal use.

Vivacity Princess Parties may occasionally ask permission to use photographs or videos for promotional purposes. Permission will always be requested first, and you are under no obligation to agree.

12. Character Integrity

To preserve the magic for every child, we kindly ask that performers are not referred to by their real names or asked questions that would break character during the party.

13. Damage

Customers may be charged for any deliberate damage caused to costumes, props, equipment or accessories during the event.

14. Force Majeure

Vivacity Princess Parties cannot be held responsible for cancellations or delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, including severe weather, road closures, accidents or other unforeseen emergencies.

15. Liability

While every reasonable effort is made to provide a safe and enjoyable experience, Vivacity Princess Parties accepts no responsibility for any injury, loss or damage arising during the event, except where caused by our negligence or where liability cannot be excluded by law.
